ON THE CROSS, THE CHRISTMAS AND THE REVELATION OF THEIR

MYTHOLOGICAL ESSENCE ( translated from Russian )

In order to reveal the most ancient prewriting period of history of any nation, one should learn and feel its inner life. The ability of the researcher to look into the nation’s mythology is one of the important points of cognition of inner life. Unfortunately, most historians who immersed themselves only in materialist universe and didn’t have a good understanding of mythological symbols could not appreciate the mythology and that is why they have been treating it with distrust and jealousy up to now. Otherwise, the researches of this orientation do not want “to see beyond their nose”. However, it is know that if there were no ideal berating nobody would need this “ material nose” and on the contrary it there were not the very nose the body could not compensate its need for air. At the same time nobody can deny that man’s breathing has a connection with his inner, or to be exact, with his spiritual life.

One of the main symbols, which reflect that spiritual life, is a “cross” or “khach” in Turkic. This problem is also interesting for the point that Armenian (hay – Alekper) scientists want to arrogate the word “khach” and the symbol to themselves, adding the Armenian/hay origin to it as well as they usurped most of our cultural achievements.

It is Murad Adji who tries to find out the connection of the cross with the Turkic word in his esse. But the opinion and the conclusions of Murad Adji about the “cross” and “St. George” are too interesting. It should be noticed that author had not shown the real meaning of the cross origin as a symbol. At the same time his idea that the initial form, of the cross had preserved at Armenians/hay-monophysites give rise to bewilderment (1) . Perhaps, Murad-bey misses the scientific and at the same time the political error which he assumes form the field of vision. I want to note that I have been in the press about the origin and the meaning of the cross since 1994. In order not to repeat every thing again, but to give the whole mythological description of the symbol “cross” we shall have to touch upon same points of those articles.

The “cross/khach”, as a religions symbol, has been spread since the ancient times on quite a large territory including North Africa to America. It is incorrect to regard this symbol as pure Christianias, because the origins of this symbol pass into the depths of history. At the same time Christ/Messiah was not execute on the cross, but as Murad Adji noted correctly on the “T”- figurative log. But while Islam considers Jesus/Christ at God’s envoy, the Christianity insists that he is God’s son.

It was this Christian idea that gave a rise to the development of different trends in Christianity. At the same time Christianity having used the cross as its religions symbol, disgraced the cross itself, having made it implement of execution of “his” God-man (the author). That is why in this article I shall try to show my own point of view on the reason of these arguments.

It is said that God has 1001 names – 300 of them are shown in Torah, 300 in Psalter in the English Prayer Book, 300 – in Gospel and 100 of them in Koran. I think the main name should be considered as Creator, because there were not this creative activity of his, none of us could appreciate his grandeur.

Every nation’s Highest Essence, Absolute have a light origin, for example, Dingir for Sumerians, Tenkri/Tanri/ for Turkic people, Ra Goratkh in Ancient Egypt, Brakhma in India, Ahuramazda for Zoroastrianism, Odin for Viking Normans, Perun – for Ancient Kiev, ets. God’s Light essence is confirmed by Torah, Gospel and Koran (2).

All the Universe is unity and God is its owner. We can show this unity symbolically by – O. From the ancient times the figure “1” was used a symbol of God Unity by the people. For example, ancient Slavians called their God as “Perun”. In comparison this word with the numeral “perviy/pershiy – first” one can notice that the above given words have the same root phonemes the, and the very interesting thing is that all three words have Turkic origin “bir/one”. For example, Arabian traveler and Historian of the X-th century Ibn Fadlan wrote that Turkics had been swearing “Bir Tenkri/ One God /” before they accepted Islam. Besides, Kiev origins as well as Arabian origins sources confirm that Kiev was established by Khazar-Turkics. After substantiation of Skandinavian-vikings in Kiev the general Slavian word “perviy/first” was changed by Skandinavian “odin”, and it was the name of Skandinavian supreme God – Odin, the head of Ass-Turkic, the natives of Troy a (3).

The drawing of Arabian figure “1” has some resemblance with graphic picture of Arabian letter “alif – I”. It is known that the basis for writing is pictography’s. Finikians used pictographically picture “V ”-“ox” ( in Semitic language it is as alp/alif/alef – Alekper) as “<“, Jews used it as “<“ in handwriting and as “א” in printing, Arabians used it as “A “. Soon, the Greek having changed Finikian picture “alif” on 90˚, formed “Α” –“alfa” from it. As among all the above given symbols Arabian “1” seemed to be more perfect for practical usage, it was used for figure “1” and that confirmed the connection of the cosmos with the Earth, spiritual with material.

Hebrew supreme God was Jahve, who symbolized a Thunderer and fertilized the ground with rain and Hebrews showed Jahve as ox. At the first stage Hebrew religion did not differ Hanaanian one. But even in the V-th century B.C. the culture, which was symbolically called Halaf was formed in the North of Mesopotamia. The experts of Halaf graves found there the statuette of Mother-Goddess with picture of “ox” head.

Under the Torah, the Jews after the escape from Egypt settled down at – foot of the mountain Sinai, where Moses “met” with God. It was the place where God gave “10 commandments” in order to test Jews. The main plat of commandments according to Tora was the removal of Jews from belief in “gold calves” (4). But, as soon as Moses left the mountain Sinai, Jews again began to believe in “gold calves”. In the Arabian language “ox/calf” – “sur” and this word the Arabian letter “s” have some resemblance in the pronunciation with the English “th”. In Jewish “ox” is “ארות /torah” is ending on the letter “ alef” , but Moses’ Torah (הרות) is ending on the “ה/he”, that on the word’s end pronounce as “ [ a ]” too. As it was noted before, according to Hebrew tradition Jahve is a symbol of fertility who sends on the earth refreshing (good) rain . But at the same time it will be wrong to consider “tur/tor” as an especially Semitic phenomenon. It is spread far away from the location of Semites. For instance, ancient Scandinavians have “Tor” – the son of Odin – leader of Turkic-Ass and his wife Yerd ( earth – Alekper ), who also symbolized the “fertility through the storm”; “Tor” – is the ancestor of Turanians according to the Iranian mythology; Turan – is one of the Etruscans God’s.

As Tur/Tor is the son of Odin and Yerd by Scandinavian mythology, that marriage ( wedlock) can be symbolically shown as follows:

According to this scheme, we can notice that the “ cross/khach “ has not the whole development as symbol in Scandinavian mythology. Also, I want to note that to my opponents’ surprise “cross/khach” has its whole perfection as a symbol in Turkic tradition.

But first, I should say that “tor/tur” is a protuberant body formed by the rotation of the circle around without crossing it and the allies lying on the same plane with it. The circle of “tor” is confirmed by such examples, as “tornado”, “tornaci/ turner “, “tors” and such Turkic phrases as turå”-“law”, “toy” -“wedding” in the meaning “ national meeting” ( “circle”, compare with Russia “êroog” – Alekper ); this conception was reflected in Latin F(t)orum, the place in Ancient Roma, where meetings were held (5).

It was said above that God is a Creator for all the nations. Slavanian words “Òâîðåö/Creator” is formed from Turkic “tor” ( by means of development of the sound [o] into diphthong [ou] ® [vo] + metatheses [ replacing of root phonemes keeping the meaning, for example, “g/k/ab or g/k/ap -> bak ( capacity – Alekper)] from the Turkic suffixes of elements “-chee /-ech/-ets”. One can explain the connection of “ tor” with spiritual life so as at the moment of death the soul goes out of the mouth ( “rot” – in Russia) (6) and “ rot/ mouth” has resemblance with ellips, i.t the word “ rot” is a metatheses from the Turkic “tor” and that divine “tor” boundless whiteness. The idea “Light” in Turkic is formed by means of “-er-, -is-, -ish-, -îd-, -ut-, -iz-, -uz-, -êó-“. Now Slavanian word “rot” in translation into Azeri-Turkic has the pronunciation “àgiz/mouth”, which is perhaps means “ag /white/+iz /light/.

So, the word “cross/khach” is revealed according to Turkic worldview as follows:

If in the nation the wound is fertilized be rain, biologically the function of fertilizing has spermatozoon, which is sounded as “torum” in Turkic. So, “Òurê” – is a child which was born from Creator/Òoreden and Ground/Torpag.

According to this scheme, and proceeding from the postulates of teizm we can consider that first “creation” by God – Adam is Òurê. Also, the conception “turê” includes humanity and democracy, or there are no differences between them. At last, we can consider, that Jesus Christ is “Òurê” also and this can be confirmed by following scheme:

So, the comparison of above given schemes shows us the similarity of “Òurê/Adam/Jesus” and subsequently in order to forbid the admiration of Semits to Mohammed there was revelation :” Lem yalid va lem yuled” (7).

So, as it is seen, if in the nature the fround is fertilized by rain, biologically it is done by “torum/sperma”, we can notice that mythological, the mediator between God and Maryam/Mariya was Gavriil. In spite of the following distortions of Christmas “God-father, God-son and Holy Spirit “ and the sacral letters sent to Mohammed are the results of that ancient philosophy.

As it was said above, unfortunately, most of our historians brought up only on the material interpretation of the universe tried to avoid theism and always dreaded with jealousy to its analysis and tried not to use them.

For example, the symbol “8” in astrology is “the house of death. In the mathematics “¥ ” means “infinity”. Infinity in time and space are only God’s characteristics. The word “Allah” ends with the 26-th letter of Arabian alphabet “o/he”, which is according to Cabbala in sum by letter-figure account gives us “8”, i.e. “2+6=8 (8). Again, according to Cabbala, the word “Jahve” give in sum “8” ( for example, Jewish yod – 10, he – 5, vav - 6,/ the word “Yahve” ends with “he” in Jewish, and it is pronounced has [a ], e.d. 10+5+6+5=26 - 2+6=8 ).

According to Bible : “ And stopped the (Noah’s -Alekper) ark in the seventh month on the seventeenth day of the month on the Ararat Mountains”(9). The figure “7” – is the theme for our next talk. But “the seventeenth day” in sum ( 1+7) gives “8”. Every Moslem ought to do 17 rukets of namaz ( word for word “worship” – Alekper ), and this also gives us in sum “8”. Eight-pointed star is determination of God, and it is not by chancre that this star can be found in pravoslav icons and pravoslav cross itself. Eight-pointed too and it is over half-moon.

So, as to letter-figure account “Alif –1, Lam –30, Mim – 40, i.e. 1+30+40=71 – 7+1=8.In other words, the symbol “8” New. !!!

According to the above said our idea symbolizes “- End of the old, the Death/Domesday and the beginning of the of Alif, Lam, Mim is such:

According to mythology “Tur/Tor” – is fertility through the “storm – the above said fertility can be show as follows :

Perhaps, that is why ancient Egyptian pharaohs as a symbol of “eternal life” kept exactly this symbol in their hands (10).

To get fire in ancient times men used flint, the Turkish name of which“ Chakhmag dashi” and while metathesis of the Turkish word “chakh/crack”. Sounds as “khach”. That is returns the attempts the of Armenian/hay to arrogate Turkish word “khach/cross”.

It has been mentioned above that God is the soul of light (God creates the light). According to the Christianity Jesus Christ’s Mariya/Maryam became pregnant by means of the Saint Spirit. A question suggests itself: why does Christianity celebrate Christmas at night from 24-th to 25-th December, and not on the 22-th December? Because, exactly at that night the light (the Day) defeats the darkness.

Jesus Christ is God’s Messiah. The Arabian verb “masakha “ means “to oil”, and Jesus Christ under Moslem tradition is “Masikh”. Into Turkish “oil” is translated “yag”. If Jesus Christ is the “oiled” son of Jahve/Eloh, then Yahve fertileges the land by means of rain turkish name of which is “yagish”. In this case one can trace the connection between the following words : J/Yahve/yag/Yagish(rain)/yakhshi (good). The interrelation of conceptions like “ Yakut/Yahudi (ידוהי)” should be reviewed in the same context, for “t/d” in both cases being a tribal plural ending, e.g. “ sak/sakat, turê/turkut,” ets. As it said God first of all is a Creator. Supreme God within pantheonists as well as monotheists God – is male, for being addressed as “He”. The phoneme “b” has a meaning “human (masculine) beginning ), for example, Turkish have it in “baba(father)” , Jews - “aba”, Arabs - “abun”, so under “b/m” transition regularity the “m” phoneme means already Female origin” e.d Turks “meme/ mother”, Jews “ima”, Arabs “ ummun”. Proceeding from the human physical structure, Turkish conceptions “baba” and “meme” are the most absolute, as father has ‘2” ovaries and mother has “2” breasts what is connected with fertility (11). So, according to theism God is Male, Jesus Christis Messiah father in Christianity. In this case the name “J/Yahve” interpreted as “J/Yah aba”, with other words “Oiling father” and here, as I think, the most exact one would be Turkish “ J/Yah baba”(Yah/g/Oil+Baba/father/Thunderer , Turkish – “Tanri”). Zeus was called by Scythians “Papay”, which meant “father/baba”.

The metathesis from “ Yah-“ is “Hay-“, from which the conception of word “life” is formed. The word “Khaya (haya)” in Turkish means “ovary”. “Yahve” is demonstration is fertility through thunderstorm.

According to be Bible – Homer, Magog, Maday, Iavan, Fuval, Meshekh Phiras – are Yaphet’s sons. Ashkenas, Rifat, Togarma – are the sons Homer (12). Taking as a basis one can notice, that Kimmerian ( Gamir, Gimirri, Gimirrai /Homer/, Midians (Maday) and Ashkenas (Scythians) known from Mesopotamians sourses also as “Àshguzai,Ishguzai,Ashkenaz” are of the same pedigree tree. In early medieval “Germany” bore the name of “Ashkenasi” (13). Our compassion of many-toungued sources show, that “Ashkenas” – are Scythians”, from which the name of Bulgarian-Oguz ethnonim “Saklab” ( tribes of Turkish origin) comes from (14). The IX-th cent. Moslem geographer al-Khorezmi wrote: “The country of Irmaniya ( Germany) and the land of as-Sakalib /people/ - bilad Irmaniya va hiya ard as Sakalib”(15). That is why the ethnonim “Ishguzai,iskit,skif,sàêàt” should have a real meaning of “Fair man(men)”, ( as mentioned above “t/d” – is plural ending, here is “tribal – Alekper ).

The earlier consolidation of “Cross/Khach” can be found among mezolitian period monuments of Azerbaijan in Gobustan. Among the images of this monument there is a picture of a dance having a Turkish name of “Yalli”, which describes a ritual dance around fire, while the Turkish word “Yalli/Yalov” means “fire” (16). The Azer - Turkic dance “Yalli” is performed in Azeri – Turkish musical mode “Chahargah”, about which a native of Shusha ( Garabag ), scholar-musician Mir Mokhsoon Navvab wrote: “ Chahargah is takes from the heaven’s thunder” (17).

Thus the material, stated above allows to assert, that it is high time to reject estranged approach to the study of ethnical processes. At the same time, given analysis affirms, that Azerbaijan, as a whole, should be considered as a civilization center, where the Homo sapiens formation took place.
