Genocide of Azerbaijanis

As a result of fascistic methods of warfare used by Armenian armed forces 12 regions (700 localities, approximately 20% of the Azerbaijan’s territory) were occupied 24 thousand Azerbaijani civilians were killed, 4 thousand people captured. Most of the captives are children, women and the old. Over 1.000.000 Azerbaijanis became refugees. 4965 people are reported missing, 320 of them are women, 69 infants, 783 of the captured are – 43 women, 18 infants. 1325 of those released from captivity are 312 women and 125 infants.

From 1994 up to now there are 6 concentration camps in Armenia and Upper Karabakh (“Nagorno-Karabakh”) annexed by Armenians:

• Infant concentration camp of Vardenis (250 children);

• Infant concentration camp of Razdan (180 children);

• Infant concentration camp of Hankendi, Upper Karabakh (180 children);

• Women’s concentration camp of Gechashen (320 women);

• Women’s concentration camp of Jermuk (250 women);

• Women’s concentration camp of Kelbajar, Upper Karabakh (150 человек). 

Armenian armed forces occupied 20% of Azerbaijan’s territory.
